Motorist Killed In South Brunswick Crash

A driver suffered fatal injuries in a crash Thursday evening in Middlesex County, authorities said.

The two-car collision occurred before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Route 130 and Deans Rhode Hall Road, according to initial reports. Route 130 southbound was closed for several hours.

Both cars' drivers were taken to Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where one of the victims died a short time later, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
